I've tried removing the mail app and reinstalling, flipping the mail accounts off/on, and changing the mail view settings (thinking maybe my legacy thread settings are slowing it down). Nothing works. This is a huge problem as I can't rely on Apple Mail with iOS 13. Not sure what to do here. I found Yahoo Mail slow to open messages, typing had a severe lag, even deleting messages took forever. Also, there were problems opening and using the link for Yahoo Messaging that appears in the Mail options. Messaging was slow to open and typing lagged tremendously. What I found was that an edge process is hindering the Yahoo application.

Opening Yahoo email is incredibly slow. Every time I try to open an email, the timer appears for 5 seconds, and that also happens for every other action I do in Yahoo mail.
