Xbox Appear Offline Bug. I turned on my 360 to check because I know xbox.com has had a few glitches recently and they were in fact offline, or appearing offline. When you're ACTUALLY offline, it says "last online xx hours ago," so it's super easy for people to see when you're appearing offline.
Yes, I made sure that I didn't go into private settings and make myself appear offline all the time. But, as soon as I go to my profile and turn "Appearing online" on, it instantly turns it off. Also, I have some close friends whom I play with and they're under "favorites" so Xbox one will tell me when my friends are on, but now that's not working. I don't understand I thought this bug was fixed but apparently it's not, I tried fixing his parameters, switching from offline to online, switching the box off and on, going in the parameters and changing them but nothing fixed it. Is there some parameter I forgot to change for him on his xbox or on mine? I think I tried everything.

If your friends are still appearing offline please contact us back and we will do further troubleshooting. While the console is on, press and hold the console’s Xbox button for 5 seconds. The console will power down. Wait 30 seconds, and then turn your console back on by again pressing the Xbox button.
