But there is no Weather Channel app that comes with Windows 10 unless it was installed by your PC manufacturer. I don't even find a Weather Channel app for Windows in the Microsoft Store app to help you install. You can go into the Microsoft Store app in Start Menu, type Weather in it's search box to browse through the apps that are available. Cannot remove app. So... the built in app for weather doesnt work... the built in ambient mode weather shows weather from 3000km away... does not show local... or even my timezone... not even the next timezone over... So I never got the app fixed but was having a few other problems too. I decided a clean install was the way to go and after spending about 8 hours doing a fresh install and putting all my other programs back on and getting the system the way I wanted, I can now report everything is working the way it should do if not better.
