Not sure if anyone has seen this, but apparently Apple is releasing a new feature in the next iOS update (13.4) called “CarKey” where your phone can work as your key to lock, unlock, and start your car if you have a push to start.It’ll also allow you to share access to your car with friends and family through their phone.
CarKey access, like Apple Pay and Apple Cash, is authenticated biometrically using Face ID or Touch ID to make sure the person holding the iPhone is the person with permission to. Apple wants its latest iPhone to replace your car key.
