It will only work to close the garage door. to open the door you need to supply a pin. There are no instructions on how to set the pin in either the MyQ app or the Alex a app. They mention that you can name the door, but again there are no instructions on how to set the name in either the MyQ app or the Alexa app. Alexa does not always respond to “Alexa ask My Q”.
