Scheffs, I haven't dealt with my Apple TV yet, but I signed up for it on my iPhone earlier. I can't remember for sure as I haven't used my Apple TV much, but HBO Now is accessed through an App. So you might have to DL the App for it through the App Store and then the HBO Now app lets you sign up by going through iTunes.
