Ford Pass App Not Working. A: FordPass is an ‘App’ that customers can download onto their smart phones. FordPass Connect is a modem that is embedded within a Ford vehicle to connect that vehicle to the internet and provide the customer with new functionality such as Live Traffic information, and Wi-Fi Hotspot. No errors or issues Alexa at home integration works 100% of the time too. Remote start schedules work perfectly too. I do wish I could adjust heat/ac within the app. Maybe it’s available on other vehicles and not my SEL trim level. We use Ford Pass to keep our vehicle running while we leave our Great Dane in the vehicle on warm and cold days. We have a 2016 Ford Taurus and I have a Samsung Galaxy S9+. I have not had any issues with the Blue Tooth system working until recently. Now, when I receive calls, and end the call, the system does not fully disconnect. It seems to freeze up, the phone box on the screen shows it is connected, but the call time stops at whatever point I ended.
