After looking through the app, I realize I can start the car from my phone... which the dealer did not mention until the younger girl at the end was introducing.

After activating, go to your vehicle and start it. A pop-up message will appear on your SYNC touchscreen, touch Allow. Remote start features will shortly appear on the FordPass app home screen on your phone. Is my vehicle Ford Pass Connect compatible? Check here to see if your vehicle is listed.
Ford's new app can lock, unlock and start your vehicle, check its status, and even warm it up for you.. just don't remote start the car when its parked in a garage, though.. Ford has not. Should have same features as ford pass app App is ok when it works but I rarely use it now. I was so happy when I bought my new 2017 Fusion Titanium energi because not only did I love the car but I also thought I would have the same functions on this app as the Ford pass app. I was sadly mistaken. My FordPass app quit working a week or two ago and it’s got my stymied. It still shows my info correctly under Settings, but when I try to use any of the normal features (Vehicle Controls, etc.) it says “sorry, something’s not right. Please contact a FordPass Guide and we’ll get it sorted out”.
