Apps Store Cannot Download. I recently purchased an MS Surface Book and cannot download anything from the MS Store. This came about after MS did a Win 10 upgrade from 1607 to 1703. When I click on “Get The App” it opens a splash screen showing the MS Shopping Bag logo but it closes within a second. It happens with any “Get The App” button on any app download window. Cannot download or install Apps from Windows Store. After hours of research, I found that the solution to the problem was rather simple, and so I thought of sharing it here. Still unable to download the apps from App Store, it still says "cannot connect to itunes store". Actually, i downloaded some stuff from apps store over wifi few hours ago, and it works, but now when i tried to download from App Store over 3G, it's failed.

Would not download from play store. Went to see what updates were available, had a list of them they also would not download. so I did this went to PLAY STORE clicked on the three lines top left go to. SETTINGS go to. APP DOWNLOAD PREFERENCE changed it to over wifi only AUTO-UPDATE APPS change to Don’t auto-update. Then was able to download apps.
