Apple Tv App Roku Buffering. July 2019 in Spectrum TV for Roku Devices Jul 29, 2019 What's up with the Spectrum TV App buffing and re-buffering on Roku every 10 - 20 seconds, consistantly. All other apps are fine. Apple TV and Roku are two of the best streaming media players designed to stream photo, video, and audio content from the Internet and locally stored files on computers, phones, and tablets. They both support 4K HDR video and Dolby Atmos Audio but have fundamental differences when it comes to design, format, connections, and pricing. I can tell you subtitles and captions are supposedly available for Apple TV content, but there is no way to turn them on or off in the app. You can setup the size and format, but when playing content if you go to Options/Accessibility there is no way to activate the subtitles. This is an Apple problem, but so far Apple support has not been helpful.
