I’ve read I can only use one app for the AirTV so my iPad and iPhone would need the AirTV app as a result of me using the Apple TV. So, 2 apps to jump between. Oh, but in case you were unaware (can't tell from your comment), if you download and sign into the AirTV app from the Apple TV App Store when initially setting up/resetting your AirTV (black) instead of linking of signing in via your SlingTV app, you can view both the OTA and Sling channels - but in separate apps on the Apple TV. The interface is basically just a stripped-down version of Sling's.
